JACKY holster BUKRIE He had not gotten a very good sleep last night. It was mostly because his roommate figured out Jacky was borrowing his laptop without permission. So they had this long deal, and the roommate was worst then Jacky when it came to drinking. The secrity came because someone complained of fighting noises next door. Then they came and assumed that Jacky was the one getting beat up (when he was the defense) because the words 'CHOSEN' were on his arm. They thought he was using his powers. Please, Jacky was healing one of the bruises appearing on his arm. Bruises were very hard to heal, but since Jacky was now a Junior, he found himself doing it if he worked hard enough. Anywho, then he had to explain and answer questions, and all kinds of shit. Just for a god damn fight!
Needless to say, he was tired. And he figured he better go to his classes today, but he was always falling asleep in them. Where did you go when you needed a quite place to sleep while looking like you were doing something productive. The library of course. He went up there, 'checking out a book for reading counts' and had been up there ever since. He was sure two or three class periods went by the time he flickered his eyes open. Stretching (on one of the couches they had) he looked around. Not a lot of people were here. That, he was thankful for, and contiuned to lay there, starting to think.
He thought a lot about Brook lately, which he found stupid of him. He just met the girl once. He figured it had something to do with what she saw in his future. Jacky falling in love? Who would have guessed. He was kind of curious to see who it was. Thats the reason he said in his head to make himself believe it wasn't because he was starting to have an itty bitty crush on her... Val had mentioned it several times to him in the past week anyways. It was hard not to think about it.

Brooklyn Amber SmithI wondered the halls. My classes were pretty much over for the day. Well, except for the other class that I had an essay I was working on in. We didn't do much in there aside from study animal bones, and I had to write a three page paper on it. No big deal there. My bag hung over one shoulder as I pushed through the doors. I took a seat at one of the many empty tables and allowed my eyes to wonder to the surface, while I managed to pullmy notebook from my bag. My head seemed to be somewhere else aside from the paper that was due in two hours or so. I doodled along the pages, writing little nothings here and there along the sidebars of the paper. I should have been reading over what I had written in the first place.
I glanced down at what I had written and blushed with such fire I flipped the page over as fast as I could and got started on my paper. Scrolling it all down in my neat, tidy writting. I wasn't on for sloppy work, but once more my mind drifted and I began to doodle once more. All I could remember making was a large heart with my red pen and black words within it that made no since at that very moment. Maybe it my mind was focused I would have known the words I was writing down in such an elegant way. A slow smile touched my lips as I continued my doodles.
It seemed I couldn't get my mind off him. Not since I had seen him in the stables and walked with him for that short while. A low sigh escaped me and I allowed my eyes to focus on the one person who seemed to invade my mind at every moment that I wasn't studying. A brilliant smile danced over my face as I flipped my notebook shut and lifted my backpack and walked over to him, dropping it on the ground infront of him with a loud thump. My notebook just so happened to be clutched to my chest. Empty except for the words I had written.

JACKY holster BUKRIE Since it wasn't very loud in there to begin with, though the librarian didn't seem to be present to shush anyone, the loud thud of the backpack seemed even louder. Jacky took a jolt, but it was only as surprise and the fact he was starting to drift again. Well, what did you know. It was Brook. "Brook!" He said, excitedly, then wanting to smack himself for using those too excited. Fuck. Val was right. Shaking his head, and thinking it was all in his mind, he sat back up, "Long time no see."
He made another stretch, but this time sitting up, so it had a little more of an effect. Ah, the power of silence. It could really put one into a deep sleep. Jacky was very thankful he didn't snore, or he probably would have gotten caught mulitple times. "Woah, you actually work here?" He asked, referring to the fact she had a notebook in her hand. Jacky certainly didn't work here... he rested here. Not a lot of people did, actually, which was why it was a little surprising.

Brooklyn Amber SmithI laughed softly at his excite exclemation. "Well, at least someone's happy to see me, most people aren't." I frowned, glancing at the ground while I scuffed my shoe into the carpet, before I shot him a glare. "I have an essay that is half my grade. I have a goal in life, thank you." I told him, reaching out and poking him in the chest, before leaning down to glare right in his face. I stayed there as I spoke my next words. "Just because someone's a slacker doesn't mean we all are." I was teasing him of course. it came so naturly to me. Long strand of hair fell over my shoulders, while my notebook was still clutched to my chest. I moved to stand back up, only to step wrong on my ankle and go tumbling forward into his lap. My face flamed, as I looked down, to shocked to move at the moment.
My notebook had fallen from my grasp and now laid open on the page I'd been doodling on. I shot a hand out, flipping it shut, which only caused me to shift in his lap. I couldn't look up at him at this moment. I wasn't sure what I should do. I didn't want to move, there was a sharp pain in my ankle that caused me to not even want to try and heal it and yet, there was something else that compelled me not to more from the place I now sat. I gazed down, brushing my hair away from my face as I gave him a side long glance, swallowing convulsivly as my nerves drove me higher. I shifted slightly, trying to stand up, but there was too much pain and it caused me to be unable to stand up. I felt terrible about not being able to move from the place that I was. "Sorry. It seems I've done something to my ankle." My face was still a bright red, but those were the only words I could get out of my mouth.

JACKY holster BUKRIE He tilted his head to the side, as he often did to show his confusion. "Why haven't they?" He asked, wondering if there was some perticular reason she was saying that, or if it was just in general. Jacky made friends easily, so most people were happy to see him... except the random people he was forced to deal with... Damen. He didn't like him, and Damen didn't like Jacky, but for the sake of not getting set on fire, they had to behave. It was un-fair.
He smiled at her teasing, with both the 'I have a goal in life' and 'just because somebody's a slacker'. "Well, they should be." He said with a laughing smile, fiddling with the tip of his hair when he did so. Well, he was not expecting what happened next. He was too distracted with his hair that somehow, Brook landed in his lap. It was a wake up call, that was for sure. Jacky blinked a couple of times before he adjusted. He caught a glismpe of her face to see it was deep red. Okay, she didn't do it on purpose, obviously.
"Aw, that's alright dollface." He said when he heard her explain. He didn't want to admit it, but he didn't really want her to stand up. "Seems a fair price for saving my life." He said, tilting his head back. Just because he woke up, didn't mean he was awake, though he was more awake then he would have been...

Brooklyn Amber SmithI stared down at the ground as he spoke. I didn't care that he seemed to mind not at all that I was square in his lap. No, he seemed just peachy to have me there and I was mortified about this. Even so, the pain in my ankle and my unwillingness caused me not want to move. I gave up my tense sitting position and relaxed into him without much thought as to why I was easing up. My shoulder rested against him now, muscles at rest, eased into a lax position. I stared away from him still, trying not to glance at him as the color in my face faded into a paler pink shade, not as flamboyent as the blaze of red that had colored my face.
Without much thought, I was speaking the things that flirted through my mind out loud, "This should feel so akward, but is doesn't. I wonder why." My eyes seemed dazed as I tried not to look at his face, but soon I failed at even that small thing and turned to gaze up at him with wide eyes. I wasn't going to do anything foolish. Nope. I was going to sit here and behave myself. Eye locked on his face though, now that I had managed that motion I didn't want to look away. I knew too much anyways and gazing at him now made those possible futures all the more real to me. All the more wanted in my heart.
